New Delhi: After the buzz about Apple’s iOS 18 took the entire tech market with a storm, Google has come out with its version of Android 15. The new Android version is anticipated to be packed with newer updates and improved bug fixes which were troubling the users. Google had already rolled out the Android 15 beta 2.1 last month and after the reviews and feedback of the reviewers has rolled out the new Beta 2.2.
Like the previous updates, this time also the focus has been primarily on the Private Space which was not functioning properly in the new update. Google was not able to fix the issue of Private Space in the previous version and has continuously tried to ramp up the feature in the new version as well.
Spatial Audio! in the new Android 15
One of the major points of speculation has been the immersive audio or spatial audio feature which was missing in Apple devices for a long time. Apple had already brought the feature to its devices and was ahead of the Android devices when it came to audio listening. However, now the same features can be enjoyed by Android users as well.
According to the buzz from the report of Android Authority, the Android update will most likely use Bluetooth LE Audio Technology to facilitate the users with a new audio experience. To use Dynamic Spatial Audio, users should have headsets with head-tracking sensors to enable the features.
Moreover, the new Android also comes with an enhanced battery life of 3 hours. Furthermore, Google has also introduced some ramped-up security features for all Android users. Amongst them, the most talked about is the new Theft Detection Lock which can lock down someone’s smartphone in case there is an “abrupt motion” suggesting a potential theft. So far, the update is out only for Google Pixel, the update is expected to be rolled out for other users soon.
