New Delhi: Recent videos by Russian YouTuber and content creator Wylsacom have pointed towards the direction that Apple might come up with a more enhanced and powerful computer, the new Apple MacBook Pro M4. Wylsacom posted the unboxing on YouTube, providing a first look at the rumoured laptop just weeks before Apple is expected to announce its new MacBook lineup officially.
The M4 chip already powers the latest iPad Pro, launched earlier this year. However, to power the MacBook Pro laptops, a more powerful chipset like the M4 will finally be fitted into the device.
The Macbook Pro M4 is rumoured to have iOS 18.1 and will be compatible with the latest iPhone 16 series. With the launch of a brand new line of computers, the tech giants can hope to recover the loss that the company faced on the financial side of the business.
Benefits of M4
1. Faster chipset than M3
Although the specifics are unclear, the MacBook Pro’s M4 will be at least 20 per cent faster than the M3. According to Apple, the M4 chip has better hardware-accelerated ray tracing, which could entice gamers. The M4 chipset is scheduled to come with 10 core GPU as compared to 8 core GPU of M3.
2. The base memory model comes with an upgrade
Memory has always been a major concern for all Mac products. Naturally, one of the main agendas of the company is to increase the unified memory with each upgrade in the chipset. Naturally, this time also the company has kept that in mind and has upgraded the base model from 8 GB to 16 GB.
3. Increase in Thunderbolt ports
The MacBook Pro will finally have as many as three Thunderbolt ports, according to a leak that shows the packaging of the upcoming laptop. This could be a significant upgrade for creators over the two Thunderbolt ports on the M3 MacBook Pro.
