Faridabad, Basant Panchami or Vasant Panchami marks the beginning of the spring season. The day is also celebrated as Saraswati Puja and the goddess of wisdom and knowledge, Saraswati, is worshipped on this day. On this occasion, Ladies Empowerment Club, Faridabad, is hosting the biggest lifestyle exhibition and food festival in Faridabad on the 26th January 2020 which will be graced by the Chief guest, Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad Shri. Yashpal Yadav and other prominent personalities including ACP Ms. Dharna, Dr. Shivani Malatia, Dr. Amit Kaur, Vice President of RWO Mr. Anand together with the RWO Committee. “The festival begins with the Lighting of the Lamp, followed by Flag Hoisting, National Anthem, honoring senior citizens and over 100 Felicitation Awards for all the Women Entrepreneurs for not only being homemakers but successful Entrepreneurs also and striking a great balance with both the roles.” said Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, Founder President, Ladies Empowerment Club, Faridabad.
She also said, “Our mission is to revolutionise With Women, For Women and By Women bringing Oneness and Selflessness by standing together where all the participants will be dressed up in Yellow outfits and a Women Empowerment message at each of the stalls in the exhibition.”
There will be painting activities for all age groups, and lot of performances on social awareness about being safe by Robinhood Army and many other NGOs and Republic Day performances by School Children who are supporting the event.
