Mehndi star Faraaz Khan passes away, Pooja Bhatt mourn his demise

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Faraaz Khan, who is popular for his role in Rani Mukerji starrer film Mehndi, died. Faraaz Khan was suffering from multiple seizures. According to the reports, Faraaz Khan’s family was going through financial crisis and was collecting money for his treatment. But Faraaz lost the battle of his life and passed away at the age of 46.

Earlier, Bollywood actor Salman Khan also came to help the actor. As soon as actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt heard about the news, she took to her social media handle to morn the actor’s demise. Pooja Bhatt wrote, “With a heavy heart I break the news that #FaraazKhan has left us for what I believe, is a better place. Gratitude to all for your help & good wishes when he needed it most. Please keep his family in your thoughts & prayers. The void he has left behind will be impossible to fill.”

Earlier, the actor’s family released a statement opening about his health, which read as, “Faraaz was admitted to the emergency ward of Vikram hospital where we found out that he suffered three consecutive seizures due to a herpes infection in his brain that had spread from his chest. Besides, while he suffered from these seizures, he swallowed the mucus and saliva of his cough which entered his lungs and caused pneumonia.”

He made his Bollywood debut with Fareb.
