Vadhandhi OTT Release: The acclaimed Tamil crime thriller Vadhandhi is returning with a brand-new season, promising another gripping mystery packed with suspense, secrets, and shocking revelations.
After the success of the first season, which earned praise for its layered storytelling and compelling investigation, the franchise is back with a fresh case and a new lead character portrayed by M. Sasikumar.
Vadhandhi Season Two is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on August 7, 2026.
Unlike the first season, which unfolded against the coastal backdrop of Kanyakumari, the second chapter of Vadhandhi moves to the bustling city of Madurai and introduces a new protagonist, Sub-Inspector Moosa Raaza, portrayed by M. Sasikumar. Known for his sharp investigative skills and determination, Moosa is drawn into a case that quickly becomes one of the most challenging assignments of his career.
The mystery begins during the inauguration of a major highway development project. What is supposed to be a celebratory event takes a shocking turn when workers uncover skeletal remains buried at the construction site. The discovery immediately raises questions about the identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding their death. Initially, the case appears to be a routine investigation involving unidentified human remains, but Moosa soon realizes that there is much more beneath the surface.
As he starts gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, a series of unexpected clues begins to emerge. Each revelation uncovers another layer of the mystery, leading him into a maze of hidden agendas, influential figures, and long-buried secrets. The investigation gradually expands beyond a simple crime case, exposing links to political interests, old rivalries, and incidents that many believed had been forgotten with time.
