Two more cases of coronavirus have been detected in India – one each from New Delhi & Telangana, the government of India said today. Both the patients are stable and being closely monitored.
This comes weeks after the first case of coronavirus was reported from Kerala.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the person from Delhi has a previous travel history from Italy, while the other from Telangana has a travel history from Dubai.
Meanwhile, 85 Indian students have been isolated for a week in the Lombardy region of Italy.
According to the media reports, out of 85 Indian students trapped in Pavia, 25 are from Telangana, 20 from Karnataka, 15 from Tamil Nadu and 4 are from Kerala.
Delhi and Rajasthan have reported 2 cases each while Gurgaon and Dehradun have one case each.
About 65 of them are engineering students. So far 34 people have died in Italy and 1694 cases have been reported. Let us know that the worldwide death toll from corona has crossed 3 thousand, while about 90 thousand people have been infected.
