New Delhi: Tragady struck in Pune when an 11-year-old child got hit on his genitals by a ball while playing cricket with his friends in Lohegaon.
The impact of the ball strike was so brutal that the unfortunate kid immediately lost consciousness and succumbed to his death shortly after.
A chilling video of the alarming incident is now going viral across social media, triggering reactions from the netizens.
Child loses life as ball hits Genitals while playing cricket
The viral video opens with the deceased, identified as Shambhu Kalidas Khandve, playing cricket with his friends as a bowler. It then shows the batter hitting the ball hard, unintentionally causing it to slam against Shambhus’ private part area with brute force.
Following that, Shambhu is seen crying in pain as he crashes into the ground and starts losing consciousness. Soon after, the boy’s friends rush to his aid & try to make him gain consciousness but to no avail.

Meanwhile, as per the reports, the tragic happening unfolded last week when Shambhu, also called Shaurya, was enjoying his summer vacation by playing cricket with his buddies at a local ground.
After getting knocked unconscious due to the fatal blow by the cricket ball, the boy was also rushed to the hospital by some locals of the area.
However, he unfortunately succumbed to the injuries midway and was later officially declared dead by the medical professionals upon arrival. A case of accidental death was also registered regarding the matter at the Airport Police Station in Pune, Maharastra.
