Ajjo, a Haryana based Film was screened on 19th & 20th April at PVR Movie Premier at Downtown Mall, sec 12 in Faridabad produced by Pradeep Mohanty, founder of Sledgehammer Foundation and Sledgehammer Cricket Academy.

Faridabad: For the first time in Faridabad a movie named Ajjo, the daughter of India, based on true incident in the village of Haryana was screened on the 19th & 20th of April 2023 at the Downtown Mall in Sec 12, Faridabad. Featuring Pradipta Mohanty as Ajjo, the main lead in the film who in the film takes the initiative to create awareness and throws light on the struggles about rural culture pregnancy system where women are still facing issue in delivering child.

The movie showcases the fact that despite of all the facilities, women and the people in the rural society lacks courage to take the step ahead. Ajjo, the 12 year little girl shows the courage, fights against the odds and saves her mother from all the difficulty that her mother faced due to age old beliefs and spreads the deeds of courage and knowledge that compells to change the mindset of the people living in rural villages of Haryana.

This movie has been winning awards and accolades in the Film Festivals. This movie has been gaining lot of recognition and was selected as the best movie at Mokkho International Film Festival 2022 and Gully International Film Festival 2022.

This film has been directed by Ram ji Bali and produced by Mr. Pradeep Mohanty. Dolly Ahluwalia, Yashpal Sharma, Neelu Dogra to be seen in the character roles. The main lead role in the film has been played by Miss Pradipta Mohanty, a class Vlll student from Delhi Public School, BPTP Faridabad and happens to be the daughter of Mr. Pradeep Mohanty.

This movie was launched by Mr. Sambit Patra, the National Spokesperson for BJP and Shri Kishan Pal Gurjar, MLA and minister of State of Power and Heavy Industries. “Power to the women, for the women and by the women was the best message in the film”, added Shri Kishan Pal Gurjar. Mr. Sambit Patra too appreciated and felt happy to see how a child is reflecting and serving to the society. The Industrialist, businessmen and women, writers, students and teachers congratulated the entire Team on the successful screening of the film Ajjo.
