Cong leader Jitin Prasad joins BJP at party headquarters

New Delhi: Since morning, there was a strong buzz about Congress leader Jitin Prasada leader joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Once a close aide of Rahul Gandhi, Jitin Prasad joined BJP at the party headquarters in presence of Piyush Goyal.

Prasad reached Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s residence in Delhi today and also reportedly met Amit Shah. BJP MP and spokesperson Anil Baluni had tweeted that an eminent personality will join the party today at 1 pm at the party headquarters in Delhi.

Prasada was one of the 23 leaders who wrote to party chief Sonia Gandhi seeking organisational changes. The group of dissidents is called G-23.
