When the original film was being made, a lot of creative disputes arose during this time due to a lot of differences between its producer Gaurang Doshi and director Vipul Amritlal Shah. So when the sequel was discussed, Vipul withdrew his name from the film, while Gaurang handed over the responsibility of directing the film to actor Sachin Pilgaonkar.
