New Delhi: Poonam Pandey, the controversial queen of the tinsel town made headlines after secretly getting married to her long time boyfriend Sam Bombay on September 1. Poonam Pandey got married to Sam Bombay in a private ceremony following Hindu rituals. But her marriage and honeymoon turned out to be a complete drama.
Soon after her marriage with Sam, Poonam Pandey headed to Goa with husband Sam Bombay for honeymoon. But later 12 days of their marriage Poonam accused her husband of assault and even got him arrested in Goa.
Later in an interaction with Times of India, Poonam opened up about rift with Sam. Poonam said, ”Sam and I had an argument, which escalated, and he began hitting me. He choked me and I thought I was going to die. He punched me in my face, pulled me by my hair and banged my head against the corner of the bed. He knelt on my body, pinned me down and assaulted me. Somehow, I managed to break free and bolted out of the room. The hotel staff called the cops, who took him away. I filed a complaint against him.”
And now after all the incident, it is said that getting her husband arrested was allegedly publicity stunt as she wanted to participate in Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14
