THIS company will pay triple salary during coronavirus lockdown

Mumbai: MCX, the largest commodity exchange from the country, has offered triple pay to some of its employees who are working from its office in the city.

MCX is the largest commodity exchange in the country.

The exchange has 400 employees across the country, of which 300 are employed at the Mumbai headquarters.

A senior exchange official said that since last Friday, 50 important employees of MCX have been working from the office. Necessary facilities have been made for them in the office and there is also a provision to accommodate them in the building of the exchange.

“In view of the risk these employees are taking, the management has decided to pay them at least double the salary and in some cases triple the salary,” the official said.

The official claimed that MCX was the only exchange to do so.

Meanwhile, SBI has also announced to give extra salary to its employees for working during the coronavirus lockdown.

The date from March 23 to April 14 is covered in this announcement. Under this, people from CPCs, CACs,

Treasury Operations, Global Markets, GITC and IT Services working in every branch of SBI have been included.
