New Delhi, West Delhi BJP MP Parvesh Verma has again stoked controversy by calling Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal a terrorist.

While addressing a rally Verma said, “In Delhi many ‘natwarlals and terrorists’ like Kejriwal are hiding. I don’t understand if we should fight with terrorists in Kashmir or with terrorist Kejriwal in Delhi.”

Earlier, Parvesh Verma said that if the BJP comes to power in Delhi, the anti-CAA protesters at Shaheen Bagh will be cleared in an hour.

“If the BJP comes to power in Delhi on February 11, we will clear Shaheen Bagh of all protest and protesters within one hour. Not a single person will be visible,” Parvesh Verma said.

Speaking on Tuesday, Verma said, “Lakhs of people gather there (Shaheen Bagh)… They will enter your houses, rape your sisters and daughters, kill them. There’s time today, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji and Amit Shah won’t come to save you tomorrow.”

While addressing a crowd at a community center in Ranhoula village which falls under the Vikaspuri Assembly constituency in West Delhi, Verma also said that if the BJP forms government in Delhi, within one month all the existing mosques built on government land will be demolished.

For over a month now, hundreds of women have been protesting at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the National Register of Citizens and the National Population Register.

The road blockage due to the sit-in is causing a lot of trouble for the daily commuters between Delhi and Noida and have led to a tussle between the protesters and the Delhi police.
