New Delhi: During the second encounter of the ongoing T20 series between Pakistan & Ireland, pacemen Shaheen Shah Afridi faced hostile treatment from a fan who verbally abused him from the stands of Clontarf Cricket Club Stadium.
The unfortunate incident took place on Sunday when the fan used objectionable words for the Pak cricketer while he was leaving the dressing room and walking towards the ground. A video of the same is now doing rounds on social media.
Shaheen Afridi Confronts Fan for Abusing Him
Enraged by the man’s foul language against himself, Shaheen then immediately hit back at the fan and even alerted the security staff about his inappropriate behavior.
Unfortunately, things didn’t just end there as after a while, the allegedly Afghan national targeted the Pak pacer once again with absurd remarks.
This time however the security staff had enough of him as he quickly walked to the stands, found the aggressor & escorted him out of the stadium right away.

Meanwhile, after facing a crushing defeat in the T20 series’s opening clash against Ireland, Pakistan bounced back by defeating the host team by 7 wickets in the second T20 international played in Dublin.
Riding high on Fakhar Zaman & Muhammed Rizwan’s exceptional knocks, the men in green chased down the challenging target of 194 in just 16.5 overs to level the series 1-1. The two teams will now lock horns in the final & series decider clash in Dublin on 14 May 2024.
