New Delhi: After delivering two back-to-back super hit seasons, Jitendra Kumar starrer comedy web show Panchayat is arriving to enthrill the fans with its third installment this summer.
Helmed by celebrated director Chandan Kumar in association with Deepak Kumar Mishra, the much-awaited comedy web series will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video in May 2024, allowing fans to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.
Panchayat Season 3 OTT Release
On April 29th, 2024, Amazon Prime Video officially confirmed that the star-studded rural drama will soon become available on the digital platform.
Taking to its X handle, the OTT ain’t teased the fans with the Panchayat 3’s intriguing poster but refrained from dropping its exact release date.
However, despite makers still being silent about the Neena Gupta starrer’s premiere date, reports have it that the series will make its way to the digital screens on or around May 28th, 2024.
Panchayat Plot
Set in rural Utter Pradesh, Panchayat circles the life of a young government job aspirant Abhiskeh Tripathi who starts dreaming of securing a decent job after right earning an engineering degree.
However, due to the lack of job opportunities combined with some unexpected circumstances, Abhishek finds himself working as a Sacrety of Panchayat officer in the remote village of Phulera.
The inaugural season of the web show portrays him struggling to live a satisfactory life while doing his low-paying job, that too in an underdeveloped village where he experiences cultural shock every then and now.
However, as the story continues in the second season, Abhiskeh is seen slowly adapting to the Phulera village’s culture & tradition, making bonds of friendship with the locals of the rural area and even finding a lover in a girl named Rinki.
Now, in the upcoming third season of Panchayat, Abhishek and Rinki will be seen strengthening their relationship while facing life’s complexities by sticking together in hot and cold times.
