Lucknow, Eliminating poverty, generating employment and improving the law and order system were the key issues in Uttar Pradesh prior to 2017, CM Yogi Adityanath not only addressed these but also worked for the development of the state and resultantly, UP is receiving flurry of investments, said Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday.
Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India addressed a session on the third day of UPGIS 2023.
On the occasion, he guaranteed the people investing in the state and the people of the state that the government of UP and the Center will continue to serve them together.
The Union Minister said under CM Yogi’s leadership, no force can disrupt UP’s growth journey.
“It is under the guidance of CM Yogi that the revenue of Excise department which used to be Rs 14,000 crores till 6 years ago, has increased to reach Rs 42,000 crores. CM Yogi has proved that when transparency and rule of law exist, investment flows into the state,” he said.
The Government of India releases the rating of Ease of Doing Business, in which Uttar Pradesh has reached the second position, said Goyal.
