Shraddha Walkar Murder Case: Aftab used more than 20,000 litres of water to clean blood stains, has an outstanding bill of Rs 300

New Delhi: Days after chilling murder details of Shraddha Walkar came to light, now sources have said that after killing the young woman the accused, Aftab Poonawalla used a lot of water to clean the blood stains from the room leading to a high water bill and the pending bill.

Aftab, the live-in-partner of the victim had killed her in May in Delhi and chopped her body parts into 35 pieces, and thrown them in the jungle.

According to the fresh details from the neighbours, it is said that Aftab, accused of killing Shraddha used to regularly go and check the building’s water tank.

Aftab’s neighbours also informed police that he has an outstanding water bill of Rs 300.

Police will also be investigating this angle in this matter as the Delhi government gives 20,000 litres of water for free.

Police have also been informed that Aftab had mentioned Shraddha’s name first in the house rent agreement and his name at the last.

Sources also said that the flat owner knew that they were not a married couple. They had got the flat with the help of a broker.

It has been found that Aftab used to deposit Rs 9,000 into the account of the owner between 8 and 10 of every month, sources said.

According to sources, it is said that the water bill is also likely to play an important role in the investigation.

Delhi Police arrested Aftab on Saturday, on the basis of Shraddha Walkar father’s complaint.
