‘Victim of the conspiracy’: Nora claims before the EOW amid Sukesh Chandrashekhar fraud case

New Delhi: On Thursday, Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Economics Offences Wings (EOW) of the Delhi Police being involved with the jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, claimed in front of the officers that she was a “victim of conspiracy’ and not the ‘conspirator.’ Reportedly, Fstehi was questioned for six hours at its Mandir Marg headquarters. Besides, the EOW also questioned Pinky Irani who introduced Nora and Jacqueline to Sukesh.

At the time of interrogation, Nora stated that she was a “victim of the conspiracy and not a conspirator” in the case and showed the screenshot of the chats between her and Sukesh. She also talked about the visit to the “charity” event in Tamil Nadu and stated that she was invited by Afsar Zaidi, the promoter of Exceed Entertainment Private Limited, while the event was organised by Super Car Artistry.

When asked about who paid for her travel and other expenses, Nora named Leena Paul, to the “best of her knowledge”, and claimed that she owns Nail Artistry.

The actress-dancer also denied that she had insisted on a BMW 5 Series Car for attending the event. She was gifted the car as a “token of love and generosity” and she refused it initially. She also claimed that Leena met her at an event and gifted her a Gucci bag and an iPhone and connected her call with her husband, who according to Leena was a “big fan” of Nora. Since then she came to know that she was being gifted a BMW.

Jacqueline stayed in touch: Say EOW officers

On Wednesday, also appeared before the economic offences wing in the case, where she confronted Pinky Irani. ANI reported that Jacqueline and Pinky got into an argument during the Delhi Police interrogation.

Initially, Sukesh tried to trick Nora but when he was unsuccessful in his attempt, he tried his hands on Jacqueline.
