New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha will star in her brother Kussh S Sinha’s directorial debut titled ‘Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness’. She announced the film on her Instagram handle, sharing the poster.
In the first poster of the film, Sonakshi can be seen with an intense look along with a silhouette of a man in it. The poster states that Sonakshi will be playing the titular character in the movie. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote, #NikitaRoyandTheBookofDarkness Filming begins soon 🎬 Making his directorial debut is @kusshssinha and im looking forward to sharing screen space with the dynamic @pareshrawalofficial sir and @suhailnayyar!”
The film will star Paresh Rawal and ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ actor Suhail Nayyar alongside Sonakshi. Talking about the movie, Sonakshi said, “Kussh and I wanted to collaborate for the right kind of project. Finally, we found something that we both liked and were excited about.”
Meanwhile, Kussh said that she has seen her sister grow as an actor and when he got the script of the film, he discussed it with her and both felt drawn to the subject. He told that this was the moment when they decided to work together on the project. He also mentioned collaborating with Nicky and Vicky Bhagnani. He said, “They’ve been our friends for years and this project is a natural extension of that relationship.”
The film is produced by NVB Films, Kratos Entertainment and Nikita Pai Films and is expected to release in 2023. Meanwhile, apart from ‘Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness’, Sonakshi will be seen in ‘Kakuda’ and ‘Double XL’ this year.
