Bigg Boss Malayalam 4: Dilsha Prasanann emerges as first female contestant to win the reality show

New Delhi: Dilsha Prasanann lifted the trophy of Mohanlal-hosted reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam 4. Beating the other five finalists namely Riyas Salim, Blesslee, Lakshmi Priya, Sooraj Thelakkad, and Dhanya Mary Varghese, Disha, the actress and dancer was declared the winner of the show.

The reality show reached its natural conclusion on July 3 after a hiatus of two years. Dilsha Prasanann was presented the trophy and the cash price of Rs 50 lakh by the host of the show. Dilsha was known for her stint and gained the highest number of votes among the six finalists and emerged as the winner.

Lifting the trophy, she thanked her fans and stated, “I wondered whether I will survive the 100 days on this show. For many days I couldn’t make sense of what I want to do on the show. But, I decided to just be myself. And I had a lot of support.”

Blesslee who became the first runner-up of the show posed with Dilsha. Congratulating the winner, the musician wrote, “All the very best first lady Bigg Boss.”

Though she was the strongest participant in the Bigg Boss house, she was criticised for several wrong reasons during her stint. Her love triangle between Robin and Blesslee lad left the audience displeased. However, after Robin got eliminated, Dilsha underwent a visible transformation. Besides, Dilsha was the first finalist of Bigg Boss Malayalam 4.

Earlier, the makers of the show abruptly cancelled the last two seasons owing to Covid-19 pandemic.
