New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced complete ban on storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers.
The announcement was made by him on Twitter, he said that in view of the dangerous condition of Delhi’s pollution during Diwali for the last 3 years, like last year, a complete ban is being imposed on the storage, sale and use of all types of firecrackers.
He said this step is taken so that people’s lives can be saved.
This decision comes days ahead of festive season.
This year Diwali will be celebrated on November 4th.
