DELHI-NCR, When people are sitting at home in their protective surroundings, there is one NGO – Aayom Welfare Society which is continuing its selfless service to the Poor & Needy Citizens. In the last one week Aayom reached out to shanty dwellers in Noida & Delhi and distributed “Food Relief Packages” to more than 1873 families in Noida & Delhi.
The NGO is not doing it for the sake of doing it. They understand the pain of the helpless people who are daily wagers, domestic helps, drivers and many more of these people who have no means of earning their daily bread, because of the Lockdown. The NGO is distributing substantial amount of dry rations to the families of these people to last them a week or more. The “Food Relief Package” they are distributing consists of 10 kgs of rice, 10 kgs of aata & 2 kgs of dal.
The brave hearts from Aayom continue to risk their own lives to serve the poor & needy even though the Corona Virus threat is going on increasing day by day. In the last one week they have distributed rations to shanty dwellers in Sector 16, Sector 17, Sector 14 A, Sector 15 A in Noida and to Shanty dwellers in Majnu ka Tila in New Delhi.
