New Delhi, India Post has invited online applications for the post of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for the Maharashtra Circle.
A total of 3650 vacancies are available at various places of Maharashtra like Navi Mumbai, Solapur, Pune, Ahmednagar and Thane.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who want to work in the post office. The online application process for GDS recruitment started from November 1 and the last date to apply is November 30.
The job profile includes branch post master, assistant branch post master, and post servant. The candidates applying for all these posts should be between 18 and 40 years old.
Educational qualification:
Applicants need to clear the Class 10 examinations with pass marks in mathematics and english (study as compulsory subjects). Candidates who have obtained compartment division in class 10 examinations can also apply to these posts. It is also necessary to have knowledge of local language and basic computer skills.
Application fee:
The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 100, while SC / ST / PWD candidates do not have to pay any application fees.
Selection process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list generated automatically on the basis of online application. Only marks obtained in class 10 examination will be considered.
