New Delhi, In a new twist to the Azam Khan sexists comments on BJP MP Rama Devi, now Azam Khan apologises in the Parliament but she refuses to accept his apology.

This is yet another foot-in-mouth moment for Azam Khan. This is also a part of long series of apologies that the Samajwadi Party MP seeks after making a careless comment, often sexist, and then apologises.

Azan Khan has now apologised to BJP MP Rama Devi in the Lok Sabha. He said he had no intention to insult the chair and said if he had indeed insulted the chair, he apologises. Meri aisi koi bhavna Chair ke prati na thi na ho sakti hai. Mere bhashan aur acharan ko sara sadan janta hai, iske bawjood bhi Chair ko aisa lagta hai ki mere se koi galti hui hai toh main uski kshama chahta hun,” he said. Rama Devi refuses to accept his apology.

Earlier SP MPs Akhilesh Yadav and Azam Khan were seen attending a meeting with Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla at his office in Parliament. BJP’s Rama Devi was also present at the meeting. Azam Khan had made a remark on Rama Devi during the session of the House on July 25.
