Once upon a time, talented actress Jayaprada was called one of the most beautiful woman by none other than the veteran filmmaker Satyajit Ray. And with Sridevi on screen, things could never go wrong.
But sadly the married life of this successful superstar was not a successful one. When all eligible bachelors from across the world were literally carrying their hearts on their palms Jayaprada preferred looking the other way. She chose to marry Srikant Nahata in 1986.
Srikant Nahata was a film producer and was already married. He was also a father of three children. Nahata did not divorce his first wife and continued living with his first family. In fact, he was living in two homes. This disturbed Jayaprada no end and she even tried to commit suicide.
In fact, Srikant entered her life when she was witnessing a bit low-phase of her life. There was a big income tax raid and this had broken her.
