New Delhi, The much anticipated wait of the Next Gen Ertiga has finally come to an end. Maruti Suzuki India on Wednesday, 21.11.2018 launched the next generation of it’s multi-utility vehicle ‘next gen Ertiga’.

According to the company, the new vehicles petrol powered version is priced between Rs 7.44 lakh and Rs 9.95 lakh while the diesel fuelled variants cost between Rs 8.84 lakh and Rs 10.90 lakh.
The company said a New ‘K15’ petrol engine provides 13 percent more power and six percent improved torque output.” Complementing the new engine is the ‘Progressive smart Hybrid’ technology with a ‘Lithium ion battery which offers best in class fuel efficiency”.”The latest offering from Maruti Suzuki is conceptualized on Suzuki’s acclaimed 5th generation ‘Heartect platform. Built afresh, it uses high tensile steel that ensures stronger and safer structure with effective absorption and dispersion of crash energy”. Maruti Suzuki and its suppliers have invested over Rs 900 crores towards development of the’next gen Ertiga’.The MUV was launched in April 2012 and has clocked cumulative sales of almost 4.2 lakh units since the launch.
