Plot
Indian Penal Law follows Gunasekaran, played by Kishore, a hardworking and honest cab driver living in Madurai. Leading a simple life centered around his family and daily work, Gunasekaran is known for his integrity and dedication. He dreams of providing a better future for his loved ones and stays away from trouble, believing that sincerity and hard work are enough to navigate life’s challenges.
His peaceful existence is abruptly turned upside down when he unknowingly becomes entangled in a criminal conspiracy far beyond his control. A corrupt police officer secretly uses Gunasekaran’s taxi as part of a serious crime, carefully ensuring that the innocent driver remains unaware of what is taking place. When authorities begin investigating the incident, evidence points directly toward Gunasekaran, making him the perfect scapegoat for powerful individuals seeking to conceal the truth.
Before he has a chance to defend himself, Gunasekaran is arrested and subjected to intense pressure from law enforcement officials. Determined to close the case quickly and protect those truly responsible, corrupt officers manipulate evidence and force him into circumstances designed to make him appear guilty. Through intimidation, violence, and psychological torture, they attempt to coerce him into signing a false confession.
