Abu Dhabi: The BAPS Hindu Mandir Abu Dhabi has been honoured with the Tolerance Award 2026 at the 3rd International Dialogue of Civilizations and Tolerance Conference (IDCT 2026), recognising its outstanding contribution to promoting harmony, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence.
The recognition highlights the Mandir’s growing role as a beacon of unity in the UAE and beyond through initiatives such as the Festival of Harmony, Omsiyyat, and humanitarian outreach during times of crisis.
Accepting the award, Brahmavihari Swami delivered a keynote address on the future of family, faith, and technology, emphasizing that while artificial intelligence continues to advance, humanity must advance alongside it through stronger values, stronger families, and deeper human connections.
Highlighting the transformative practice of Ghar Sabha, he underscored the importance of families spending time together daily in prayer, reflection, and meaningful conversation—without digital distractions.
