Pant suffered the injury when Ravindra Jadeja’s ball hit him straight on the knee after Devon Conway failed to hit the ball.

Meanwhile, New Zealand left-hander, Rachin Ravindra who hails from the city of Bengaluru has made it to the headlines once again. The 24-year-old was the second batsman to score a century in Bangalore since 2012.
Ross Taylor was the last player from New Zealand to do so when he scored 113 off 127 balls at the same venue in Bengaluru in 2012. He brought it up in 124 balls, smashing 11 fours and two sixes. The 21-year-old becomes the 21st Kiwi batter to notch up a century in India.
