New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh showered praised for Prime Minister Narendera Modi for transforming Kashi completely in the last 10 years. Ranveer Singh paid a visit to the holy Baba Vishwanath Temple with actress Kriti Sanon and Fashion Designer Manish Malhotra. Ranveer Singh and Kriti Sanon was in the city to participate in the Fashion show hosted by the designer Manish Malhotra. He also shared a post describing the Holy place in his Instagram handle and wrote, भारत का धरोहर काशी !
Both the actors hailed Prime Minister Modi for his developmental work and improving the infrastructure in the city. Ranveer Singh said, “We deeply appreciate everything Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done to protect and promote the weaver community (of Varanasi). He has absolutely changed the face of Kashi in the last 10 years.”
Both the actors visited the city to attend the Fashion show and took time out of their busy schedule to pay a visit to the Holy temple where they clicked pictures and enjoyed the rich heritage and culture of the city Varanasi.
Talking about the event which was based on a Banarasi saree, the actor said “The event was amazing. The experience of ramp-walking on the banks of River Ganga felt a million times better than walking at Mumbai’s 5-star banquets. This event showcased the exquisite craftsmanship of our weaver community.”
