New Delhi: After registering a historic win at the box office, SS Rajamouli’s RRR is all set to roar at the academy awards. The Oscar award ceremony is being held in Los Angeles. The film won the Best Foreign Language film and best original song for Naatu Naatu at the Critics Choice Awards. The song Naatu Naatu also won an award at the 80th Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles last year. Last year the performance by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava on the Naatu Naatu song received standing ovation from the crowd.
South Stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR played the role of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri and Seetharamaraju in the film. The star cast of the film includes Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Ray Stevenson, Allison Doody and Olivia Morris. RRR is one of the most successful films which has made a collection of over 1400 crore. The official Twitter page of the film ‘RRR’ also shared the video and titled the post as “On the #Oscars stage again!!! #RRRMovie (sic),”
Apart from the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song ‘RRR’s action sequence was also included in the Academy Awards list.
Film’s director SS Rajamouli, his family, Ram Charan with wife Upasana, Juniro NTR with wife attended the Oscar award ceremony 2023 and cheered for their team.
SS Rajamouli is working on an untitled project with Mahesh Babu and the film is likely to be release in the summer of 2024.
