New Delhi: Countdown for the Miss Universe 2023 beauty pageant has begun and the beauty queens from across the world will be vying for the coveted title soon.
Representing India would be 22-year-old Shweta Sharda. Hailing from Chandigarh, the model and dancer won the Miss Diva Universe back home and will have the attention of the world, when she along with other beauty queens contest for the title in El Salvador on November 18
The 72nd Miss Universe contest is set to take place in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador and will see the sprawling hall packed with more than 13,000 guests & audience.
Adding bling to the glamour would be a LIVE musical event by legendary 12-time Grammy winner John Legend.
Who is Shweta Sharda?
The 22-year-old Shewta Sharda will represent India at the 72nd Miss Universe beauty pageant, slated on November 18 (Saturday).
• Shweta Sharda is an dancer and model besides being the winner of Miss India Universe title
• Hailing from Chandigarh, she moved to Mumbai with mother at the age of 16, for pursuing her dreams. She was crowned the Miss Universe India 2023 and now eyeing the title of Miss Universe.
– She was the winner of Miss Diva 2023, 11th edition of the Miss Diva pageant held in August 2023.
– She has appeared in many reality TV shows namely Dance India Dance, Dance Deewane, and Dance Plus.
What is Shweta’s qualification & aim?
After moving to Mumbai, Shweta pursued Bacherlor’s degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Speaking about her objective in life, she says that representing my country on such a stage is a big achievement for me and I feel blessed & truly grateful for this.
“I look forward for a great journey. I am going to give my best and bring the (Miss Universe) crown home,” she told newsmen.
A day ago, Shweta participated in the 72nd Miss Universe Preliminary Evening Gown competition. She looked resplendent & magnificent in the attire.
