Gangster Atiq Ahmed’s wife Shaista Parveen declared ‘Mafia’ in fresh FIR

New Delhi: Shaista Parveen, absconding wife of murdered Gangster Atiq Ahmed has been declared ‘Mafia’ by the Uttar Pradesh police in a fresh FIR.

The Police also said that she is accompained by a shooter named Sabir all the time.

Sabir, is one of the the accused in the Umesh Pal murder case and UP police announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh on him.

Rajesh Kumar Maurya, in charge of Dhoomanganj police station in Prayagraj has registered the FIR.

The FIR was filed after police raided the house of Asad’s friend Ateen Zafar, where Shaista had stayed on May 2.

During the police investigation it was found that Shaista was in Prayagraj on April 16, a day after her husband gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were shot dead by three shooters while they were being taken for medical.

According to Police, she lived at her son’s friend Ateen house with Sabir.

Ateen provided the details to Police during the interrogation after he was arrested on May 2.

Following this, Police registered an FIR mentioning Shaista Parveen as a ‘mafia’.

Sources also said that Police are preparing to put Shaista Parveen’s name on the list of mafias also.

Lawyer meets Atiq Ahmed’s son in jail

Murdered gangster Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer Vijay Mishra on May 5 met Atiq’s son Umar Ahmed in Lucknow District Jail.

He said that he was met Umar for the first time after the killing of Atiq-Ashraf to give him legal advice.
