Plot
The Mummy centers on Charlie and Larissa, a grieving couple whose lives were shattered after the mysterious disappearance of their young daughter Katie during a family trip to Egypt eight years earlier. Despite endless searches and years of emotional suffering, the couple eventually loses hope of ever seeing their child again. The tragedy leaves deep emotional scars on their marriage and personal lives as they struggle to move forward while carrying the pain of unanswered questions.
Their world is suddenly turned upside down when authorities make a shocking discovery — Katie has been found alive inside a sealed 3,000-year-old sarcophagus uncovered during an archaeological excavation in Egypt. The unbelievable revelation stuns experts and reignites worldwide curiosity surrounding the ancient tomb and its dark history. Though physically alive, Katie appears deeply traumatized, emotionally distant, and strangely disconnected from reality.
