New Delhi: The Communist Party of India Marxist (CPI-M) is drawing flak & public ire on social media with many netizens calling out its \u2018fake nationalism\u2019 and mindless praise for totalitarian regime of North Korea.<\/p>\n
The Puducherry unit of CPI(M) took to its Twitter handle and showered praise on the autocratic & dictatorial regime of North Korea. Fawning over the oppressive & tyrannical regime, it said that the Workers Party of Korea (WPK) is leading the construction of a powerful socialist nation to victory while facing many challenges.<\/p>\n
The Workers\u2019 Party of Korea was founded 77 years ago, on October 1945. It is the sole ruling party of Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea i.e. North Korea. Its General Secretary Kim Jong-Un is among the most atrocious & cruel rulers whose regime is known more for his tyranny than governance. Many incidents of \u2018execution over dissidence\u2019 to the ruler have been reported by Western media.<\/p>\n
The admiration of North Korea by the Left party didn\u2019t go down well with the netizens as they took umbrage and took turns to berate the party.<\/p>\n
