New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh lifted COVID-imposed curfew from all districts on Tuesday. Meanwhile, night curfew (7pm to 7am) will continue in the state.<\/p>\n
The Chief Minister\u2019s Office (CMO) said, active caseload in the state stands at 14,000 with less than 600 active cases in each district.<\/p>\n
According to a statement issued by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Information, Navneet Sehgal on Tuesday morning, curfew restrictions will remain in place in all districts from 7 pm to 7 am. \u201cThere are now less than 600 active cases in all the districts and hence the day curfew is being lifted. Only 797 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the Centre\u2019s centralised vaccination policy announced on Monday and said that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s compassionate leadership, stated will no longer have to spend anything on Covid-19 vaccines.<\/p>\n
Thanking PM Modi, Adityanath tweeted to say the decision was in \u201cpublic interest.\u201d \u201cIt is only because of the compassionate leadership of the Prime Minister that now, no state government in the country need to spend anything to get the Covid-19 vaccines. The Government of India will provide free vaccines to all people in the country.
