The actor posted some photos from the day of his wedding in June 1973. Big B posted the photo on Instagram while captioning it as: \u201cJune 3, 1973\u2026 Thank you all for your greetings on our anniversary.\u201d<\/p>\n
The veteran actor also thanked his fans in his latest blog entry: \u201cThank you all for your immense gratitude for the wishes for Jaya and me on our wedding anniversary\u2026 June 1973\u2026 Now 48 years.\u201d The actor added in his blog, \u201cYour wishes and your gracious words have been most moving and filled with love for us\u2026 And we truly appreciate them\u2026 For today and now.\u201d<\/p>\n
Actress Bhumi Pednekar also commented on the photo as she called the couples \u2018legends\u2019.<\/p>\n
Big B got married to Jaya Bachchan June 1973 and since then they have worked together in many hits such as Zanjeer, Sholay, Abhimaan, Mili, Chupke Chukpe and Silsila among many others. Although Jaya acted only a few films after the births of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan.
