New Delhi: Amid the barrage of accusations and allegations by Opposition parties over Centre\u2019s \u2018poor handling\u2019 of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday release a set of documents to expose the Congress attempt to malign PM Modi\u2019s image.<\/p>\n
BJP leader Sambit Patra took to Twitter and shared 2 purported documents of Congress research department and called them a party\u2018toolkit\u2019 with \u201celaborate plans\u201d to defame Prime Minister Narendra Modi and help build a \u201cbiased narrative\u201d over Covid-19 management and the Central Vista project.<\/p>\n
In fact, the particular \u201ctoolkit\u201d is being shared on Twitter since morning with the hashtag \u2018CongressToolkitExposed\u2019<\/p>\n
Sharing the details of documents, Patra called the \u201ctoolkit\u201d more of Congress\u2019 \u2018PR exercise than a soulful endeavour\u2019. He went on to call it an agenda of the Congress and accused Rahul Gandhi of \u201cwanting to use this opportunity of Pandemic to destroy the image of PM Modi\u201d.<\/p>\n
Citing the \u201cCongress toolkit\u201d, Patra said that the party workers were \u201cinstructed to call the mutant strain as \u2018Modi strain\u2019\u201d.<\/p>\n
Later, Sambit Patra briefed the media and slammed Congress for plotting against PM Modi.<\/p>\n
Rajiv Gowda, who heads Congress research department called this a canard and accused the BJP of propagating a fake \u201ctoolkit\u201d on Covid-19 mismanagement and attributing it to his party.<\/p>\n
