New Delhi: A video of a huge crocodile on the roads of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra is going viral on social media. Reportedly, the reptile was seen roaming freely at night creating a jam in the pathways of Chiplun. Meanwhile, a passerby recorded a video of the incident and shared it on X (formerly Twitter). The clip went viral, soon after being uploaded on the social media platform.<\/p>\n
In the video, the crocodile is seen strolling on the wet streets of Ratnagiri. While an auto-rickshaw driver follows it to make a video without fearing for his life, others take a U-turn to save themselves from the massive predator. The exact date and location of the incident are still not confirmed.<\/p>\n
The video was shared by the handle \u2018Shiv Aroor\u2019 along with a caption saying, \u201cA large adult Mugger crocodile on the roads of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, after heavy rain last night. Hope she\/he is safe.\u201d<\/p>\n
As per the reports, the Meteorological Department has predicted a downpour in Ratnagiri till July 2. The officials have also advised the locals to stay alert. <\/p>\n
