New Delhi: Popular South actress Rashmika Mandana has joined the star cast of the most anticipated film \u2018 Sikandar\u2019. The actress will play the leading lady of the film opposite legendary actor Salman Khan. The film\u2019s shoot is scheduled to kick off in June this year and will release during EID 2025. The film is directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The Makers shared the news of welcoming the actress through an Instagram Post. It reads, Welcoming the fabulous @rashmika_mandanna to star opposite @beingsalmankhan in #Sikandar! Can\u2019t wait for their on-screen magic to unfold on EID 2025! <\/p>\n
Rashmika was last seen in the mega block buster film \u2018Animal\u2019 opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The film was a massive hit at the box office. Rashmika played the role of Ranbir\u2019s wife in the film.<\/p>\n
The Animal actress reacted to the news of the update shared by the makers, she wrote \u201cYou guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is\u2026Surprise!! I am truly grateful and honoured to be a part of #Sikandar (sic).\u201d<\/p>\n
Rashmika will be seen in her upcoming project \u2018Pushpa 2\u2019 starring Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil. She recently spoke about the film during an interview and said \u201cIt starts feeling like home.
