Based on the heinous & infamous Sheena Bora murder case, the documentary series will dig into the spine-chilling tale of a woman who was held guilty of abducting & brutally murdering her own daughter with the help of her husband and driver. Plot
\nHelmed by Shaana Levy and Uraaz Bahl, The Crime- the documentary will circle the mysterious disappearance & murder case of a 25-year-old executive Sheena Bora that took place in Maharastra back in 2012. It will further showcase how after a prolonged period of investigation, media frenzy & conspiracy theories, Sheena\u2019s case took an unexpected twist when her mother Indrani Mukherjea was arrested for her murder in 2015 and later held guilty for the same.<\/p>\n
Be it for the young girl\u2019s disturbing disappearance or the way her body was dumped in a remote forest & set ablaze by her own family to erase evidence, the pre-planned gruesome criminal case shocked the entire nation and went on to become one of the most talked about scandals of that decade.<\/p>\n
