New Delhi: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference and reiterated his demand while reasoning as to why there was a need for Prime Minister\u2019s educational degree to go public. This press interaction comes after Gujarat High Court quashed CIC\u2019s orders to furnish PM Modi\u2019s graduation and post-graduation certificates under the Right to Information Act. Kejriwal alleged that the order of Gujarat HC has raised doubts about the PM\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n
Addressing the press, Arvind Kejriwal said that the nation is shocked as we live in a democracy and there should be freedom to ask for information. He clarified that being illiterate is not a crime but in the 21st century, it is important that India\u2019s Prime Minister is educated.<\/p>\n
He mentioned that PM has said statements like making tea with gas from drains and radar not catching the plane behind clouds, which no educated person would say. Giving the example of demonetisation, GST and farm laws, he said that a PM has to take various decisions in a day and if the PM would not be educated then people around him can manipulate him.<\/p>\n
