On the same day that the action picture \u2018Bholaa\u2019 hits theatres, the teaser for the actor\u2019s next movie, \u2018Maidaan,\u2019 is released. With this, the star is expected to dominate the box office this year. Maidaan, which claims to recount the golden era of football, stars Ajay Devgn as Syed Abdul Rahim, who worked as the Indian football team\u2019s coach and manager from 1950 until his death in 1963. He is largely regarded as the father of Indian football.<\/p>\n

The teaser began with the commentator introducing the viewers to the Summer Olympics 1952 contest at Helsinki Stadium in Finland. They are up against Yugoslavia\u2019s skilled team. The golden era of football, from 1952 to 1962, saw the Indian football team compete in the Olympics twice despite numerous obstacles.<\/p>\n
\u2018Maidaan,\u2019 directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, is billed as a sports drama with a script by Saiwyn Quadras and dialogues by Ritesh Shah. Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh also star in the movie, which is scheduled to be made into a movie worldwide on June 23, 2023. Together with Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, Kapoor serves as producer.<\/p>\n
In the meantime, Ajay Devgn\u2019s Bholaa was also released today. The movie is an authorized Hindi remake of Lokesh Kanagaraj\u2019s Tamil film \u2018Kaithi,\u2019 which he wrote and directed.
