The \u2018Pathaan\u2019 actor made it to the Academy Awards stage as a presenter to give a special shoutout to RRR\u2019s power-packed song \u2018Naatu Naatu\u2019 which went on to win the Academy Award for the \u2018Best Orginal Song\u2019 category. The performance received a standing ovation.<\/p>\n
Taking to Twitter, Kangana Ranaut praised Deepika and wrote, \u201cHow beautiful @deepikapadukone looks, not easy to stand there holding entire nation together, carrying its image, reputation on those delicate shoulders and speaking so graciously and confidently. Deepika stands tall as a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kangana said, \u201cLook, I am here to defend those who can\u2019t defend themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can\u2019t promote her film here.
