The party\u2019s media handle @ShivsenaComms also lost its verified blue tick and now it has been renamed as @ShivsenaUBTComm.<\/p>\n
Also, on Wikipedia, Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray is referred to as the \u2018erstwhile leader forming Shiv Sena (UBT)\u2019.<\/p>\n
On Friday, Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde changed his display picture on Twitter with Shiv Sena\u2019s \u2018bow and arrow\u2019 symbol.<\/p>\n
This comes at a time when the Election Commission of India (ECI) allotted the party name \u201cShiv Sena\u201d and the symbol \u201cBow and Arrow\u201d to the faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.<\/p>\n
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday said that the symbol of \u2018bow and arrow\u2019 has been stolen.<\/p>\n
He also alleged that people from higher authorities are \u201cinvolved\u201d in EC\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n
In a Tweet, Raut said that a transaction of Rs.2,000 crore has been made to \u201cpurchase\u201d the Shiv Sena\u2019s name and \u2018bow and arrow\u2019 symbol.<\/p>\n
Raut also said that the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) will be using Balasaheb Thackeray\u2019s name only for votes.<\/p>\n
