New Delhi: Dadasaheb Phalke awardee and renowned Telugu filmmaker Kasinadhuni Viswanath died on Thursday at a private hospital in Hyderabad.<\/p>\n
Who was Kasinadhuni Viswanath?<\/p>\n
Kasinadhuni Viswanath died at the age of 92. He was a five-time national award winner who was suffering from age-related ailments.<\/p>\n
He started his career as an audiographer. His filmmaking career started under director Adurthi Subba Rao after a brief stint as a sound engineer, and he later worked as an assistant director in 1951 for Telugu film Pathala Bhairavi.<\/p>\n
In 1965, he made his directorial debut with the movie Aatma Gowravam, Viswanath, and went on to win the state Nandi award.<\/p>\n
He had also released films like \u2018Chelleli Kapuram\u2019, \u2018O Seeta Katha\u2019, \u2018Jeevana Jyoti\u2019, and \u2018Sarada\u2019.<\/p>\n
He also performed in major films, while he also directed some of them, including \u2018Lakshmi\u2019, \u2018Narasimha Naidu\u2019, \u2018Swarabhishekam\u2019, \u2018Pandurangadu\u2019<\/p>\n
He also collaborated with Rakesh Roshan in Bollywood.<\/p>\n
